Taking Stock
I’ve been dreading my 60th birthday, as I never ever thought I would get that old. I look at my body and it seems to be crumbling, going south and wrinkles are filling in gaps in places where I didn’t even know there was a gap.
Having reached a certain age when one could be described as ‘a grumpy old woman’, I learned that Benjamin Disraeli said ‘Travel teaches toleration.’ Now, I would have used the word ‘tolerance’ but there I go, being grumpy!

Coming out of work a few weeks ago, on a crisp winter’s day (I hate the cold) I was walking home and said to myself, “That’s weird, I can’t see properly!” My right eye was acting up, hard to describe… like there was a film over it and my binocular vision wasn’t working normally…
